# Data processing

> Learn what data Revisory stores and how it's processed.

Transparency is important to us. Here's what data Revisory processes.

## What data is stored?

### Account data

* Name and email address
* Profile picture (optional)
* Connected login methods (Google, GitHub)

### Organization data

* Organization name and logo
* Team members and their roles
* Billing information

### Content data

* Uploaded documents
* Extracted text from documents
* Categories and evaluation steps
* Analyses and results

## Where is data stored?

All data is stored in the European Union. Revisory uses certified data centers with:

* ISO 27001 certification
* Encryption at rest
* Regular backups

## How long is data stored?

| Data type    | Retention                    |
| ------------ | ---------------------------- |
| Account data | Until account deletion       |
| Documents    | Until manual deletion        |
| Analyses     | Until manual deletion        |
| Billing data | 10 years (legal requirement) |

## Exporting your data

You can export your data at any time:

1. Go to **Profile** → **Data Export**
2. Click **Request Export**
3. You'll receive an email with a download link

The export contains all your personal data and content in JSON format.

## Deleting data

### Individual documents

Delete documents directly in the document view. Extracted text is also removed.

### Entire organization

The Owner can delete the organization and all data under **Organization** → **Settings** → **Delete Organization**.

### Account

Delete your account under **Profile** → **Delete Account**. Personal data is completely removed within 30 days.
